    No joke

    wet chamois can be deadly...... well OK maybe it won't kill you, but aieeeeeeeeeee. Not only does the wet make your shorts more apt to irritate, grit usually gets in there with the water. One particularly rainy mucky race you could hear the yelps as each of us showered (a whole bunch of us gals were sharing a cabin) - we all had raw spots and actual cuts on our hineys from wet shorts, bad seams, and about a pound of road grit.

    If you do go with the cream, put it not only in the usual places, but along your chamois seams too.
