just wanted to say congrats on the bike. It looks great for commuting. How do you like those grips? I have been looking at something like those to upgrade my mtn bike.

    Happy riding.

Red Rock, I like the grips on my commuter bike but won't put it on my mtb. For some reason, I feel more in control with a smaller grip, especially in technical areas. Hubby, on the other hand, prefers them. All I can say is give it a whirl. I do have something I highly recommend--Cane Creek bar ends. These babies are super sticky and will not gouge you when you fall.

Jocelynif, I'm not really commuting , I'm just noodling around the 'hood on this impulse ride bike.

Mimi, you would really like how quiet and smooth this hub is. You'll have to try one.

I really loved that design when I saw it for a ready to go (lights, racks, fenders) city bike. Enjoy!
