Oh yeah, I forgot to mention to remember that everyone has different reasons and needs for cycling. For example a racer has different needs than the mom who rides to spend time with her kids.

Please just keep these few things in mind when deciding what to get your SS.

    Thanks!

Do you want us to respond here that we are interested, even if we responded in your first 'feeler' post? Probably easier for tracking purposes.

    Count me in!

OK, I should work on my reading comprehension. At least I helped to bump the thread. Will PM you now.

Firstly, BIG THANKS to ASammy1, for organising the SS this month.

Theme for this round will be warm weather riding and/or fix-a-flat. Remember these are just guidelines.

I was just wondering this month for the SS, if it is an idea or not for us to mention a few things about ourselves???

OK, shoot me down in flames if it is a stupid idea and you all feel it takes away any of the surprise.

I only ride a mountain bike
Am not an overly girlie girl
Only like wearing baggy T shirts, 'cos I am not petite
    Don't wear proper cycling gear
BUT simply love get anything kitsch, or little keepsakes from anybody the other side of the world, anything that is fun, or bike related
    Oh yes, chocolate!

You should see the list I always leave Father Christmas.

Thanks ClockworkOrange! I think your idea is a good one. I will go next.

I'm a roadie, but also a commuter and casual rider. When riding, I'm not a girly girl, but off the bike, I love fantastic jewlery (I'm a jewelry designer in my very limited spare time).

    me too

I'm a roadie only...mtn bikes make my knees hurt...and I go for longer rides as well as commute to work/school. I'm pretty much a gearhead...and both enjoy being a technerd as well as going out backpacking and being completely disconnected

I'm a roadie... the thought of going over a curb scares the living day lights out of me. I'm newer to biking (started about 10 months ago) I have just started commuting to school (I'm a grad student). It depends upon the day, but I can be a girlie or I can be a tomboy. I love adventures....

I'm a roadie, a mountain biker, and a commuter- a jack of all trades and a master of none Generally speaking, I'm a tomboy, but I clean up pretty well when the situation demands.
