Skins Knicks

my skins knicks have finally arrived. Unfortunately I didn't have them for my big weekend of riding.. I did however go for a ride in them yesterday and so far GREAT! The chamois so far feels great, very comfortable! I am an XS in all the Skins products so got a XS in the skins knicks.. I might next time however get the small in the knicks.. they seem to be a little tight around my legs. Give them a few wears and I guess they might loosen though.

I would say def worth the $199 aud!

what more can you tell us about your new skins?
how would you compare the chamois with others, like assos or pearl izumi?
did you follow the the skin's size calculator? is the bib comfortable on the shoulders?

I love the chamoi.. I've ridden pearl izumi knicks and I definately rate my skins knicks chamoi higher then them.. My fav pair before my skins a pair of womens specific santini gel bib knics so until I do some more riding in my skins I am going to say that after my couple of rides in the skins I like them the best. In a lot of my other knicks I am continuously moving my self around on my seat to get a better comfortable position.. with my skins I dont find my self doing that at all.

yes I went by their fit calculator. I'm 165cm and 53kg so I fit into the EX SMALL category... Mind you I remember when I first got my recovery skins they to felt a little tight for comfort but soon I either got used to them or they slightly stretched.

Becuase they were so expensive I only got the knicks not the bib knicks just to make sure I was going to like them. I usually wear bibknics (my new skins knicks are my only pair of knicks) and I find them just as comfortable. They don't have elastic the whole way round the waist which is great, just about a 3inch bit at the back and thats it.

I just did my first ride (50 miler) in my new Skins Bib Longs. I'm in love. By far this is the most comfortable chamois (including my Assos) that I've ridden. I also thought they would be difficult to get off because they come up in more of a tank style in the front, but not any more so than other bibs.
