We've had 2 Merlin Cyrene's in the shop recently. I'm jealous.
Oil is good, grease is better.

That's a gorgeous bike -- congratulations!
Last year I found a Merlin Camena on Craigslist that was in my size. The price was right, so resistance was futile!! My Merlin also has the Thomson zero setback seat post. Previous owner had a Terry Gellissima Butterfly saddle with Titanium rails. I was a bit skeptical about how I'd like the saddle (my other 3 bikes have Brooks), but so far, so good.
Yes, I have 3 other bikes, and have no intention of selling any of them. Some weeks I ride all 4 of my bikes, and it makes me really, really happy.
Again, congrats on your great craigslist find!

Woot wooo!!! That's one purty bike... me likey! I don't think there's any reason to sell the Surly. There's room enough for both bikes in the stable.
