    Wow! Fabulous.

Thanks so much everyone!! It is really great to be able to share my experience with everyone here!

I don't think it was easy in any way, but I was well trained for it. I was really nervous/anxious, but I kept reminding myself when it got hard that I was well trained and tapered, and I could do it. It was as much mental on the run as it was physical.

I would love to do the vineman, but it has a waiting list

I am meeting with my coach tomorrow to come up with the rest of my season of triathlons, which I am really excited about!

    YAY KACIE!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for taking the time to give us an awesome rr! I was insanely curious how things went for you, sounds like & judging by your times it went very well. Way to make us TEers proud!

I'm 66days out from my HIM and this is great training inspiration!

Good luck with the rest of your races this season, you've got a stellar base to work from.

Barb's Race is run on the same course as the Vineman. I hope it's not full yet because I haven't signed up yet.

    Snakes????!!!

Great job! Esp. w/ the bottle hand off. I'm just no that coordinated.
BUt SNAKES?????! I hate snakes!! OY. I would have been freaking out. I'm imagining our big daddy rattlesnakes out here being all over the road and shuttering... ugh
Anyway, great job. Kelly Ripa mentioned on Regis and Kelly that she went for a run with Faith Ford and they "ended up on the course that a marathon was being run on".. I was yelling at the t.v. "it was a half IRONMAN you dolt!".
And they also showed a taped piece of them going into a restaurant, and the run course was in the background. Very cool!
    And a big congrats!!

The roads on the actual bike course were MUCH better than the roads I was spinning around on the day before! Thanks to your city for literally shutting down major roads to have this race! It was wonderful!

I heard that she ran into the "end of a marathon." Not quite! Those times would be pretty rough for a marathon! Oh, yes, the snakes were pretty funny. They were not any rattlesnakes, thank goodness. I did hear people talking about them while we were passing them!
