Keen Clearwater Cycle Shoe Fit

How does the new Keen Clearwater cycle shoe fit compared to the sandle? Does the width feel about the same? Or more scrunched up with the shoe being enclosed, versus a sandle? I would assume length fit to be the same.

But, I think one reason my feet love it is cuz my toes can spread out a bit more to not irritate my neuroma. I want the enclosed shoe as well for the design, but not sure if the upper will be too constrictive. It looks pretty soft and comfy though (read: might stretch enough to not bother the neuroma)... via cyberspace that is.
