So glad you're back! But I'm sorry to hear you've had some sad times. Hang in there.

I love your artwork, particularly the owl. (I have developed quite a fascination for owls since having had a very interesting, maybe even spiritual, encounter with one several years ago.)

Life is like that sometimes but you seem to be handling things well. On the bright side, you still have a job and it's good to hear you're riding (more than I can say)

What is that squirrel doing? It looks like an advertisement

Glad to see you back, wildhawk! I remember when you were dealing with all the issues with your employer and glad you still have a job, despite the change in shifts. Your artwork is great!

Thanks for your kind words everyone - it is great to be back on TE. And I am looking forward to ramping up my riding times this coming week too. The park trail I ride on closes at dark, but I get home about 5:00 p.m. so it gives me time to ride and even sketch in the park a little. I put together a small art kit to fit in my panniers, so after I ride a bit, I take a break and sketch the local squirrels and ducks awhile. Very relaxing too. Then its off for home just after dark.

Zen: The squirrel drawing was created for an upcoming show at a local art society - the theme was “Think Green”, so hopefully he will inspire folks to not leave trash in our parks. So, I guess it is an advertisement of sorts.

Great to hear from you all - happy riding everyone!
