I rode the Great Dismal Swamp Canal Trail with 3 other friends. Great ride until the helicopter flew over and dropped a blanket of industrial strength mosquito repellent. So gross!
Anyway, it's a flat and fast 8 mile trail, so 8 out and back for a total of 16 miles.

I had scheduled to lead a relatively short (15 mi) club ride after work - except no one showed up!
I guess they were all scared away by the impending weather. So I toodled around by myself for a while and then went home, because honestly, I wanted to watch the 3 hrs of the last ER episode anyway!
