Also ridiculously windy here in Austin, Tx. Gusts up to 45mph. The ride home is going to be awesome with the wind at my back!

I havent posted in such a long time. I kind of burnt myself out last year. So anyways took my 3rd ride of the season this afternoon. Took it easy and had a great 22 miles. It was so beautiful out that I think I could of ridden all afternoon. I probably should of because there forcasting rain till Sunday and only in the high 40s.

Rode 28 miles today with my riding buddy. We did a few intervals in the beginning, going as fast as we could between signals and recovering to the next. Then we rode the rest of the ride, with some moderate climbing, as usual and ended up with a great time. (We're stat junkies! )

It was a good ride, which is nice, cause my last ride SUCKED! Very difficult 50 miles in the wind. Yay for the GOOD rides!

I want to ride, but it's too cold and windy (low 40's with wind gusting to 50mph).

I'll just live vicariously through you ladies.

My commute was in rain, no wind. It was supposed to clear by 9am. At 5pm, ride home was still in rain! It was serene since I took the bike path and the fog was thick and heavy through the swampy woods. I felt at one with the world and my bike.

    Terrible Day - Great Ride.

By far, my best ride of '09. A quick 17 miler - Pulled into the driveway just as the heaven's opened...doesn't get any better than that!

At 28 mph, I come around a turn where they filmed part of a race scene from "Breaking Away" thinking "The Italians are coming - The Italians are Coming!"
