Just got off the phone with her. No one has come in today to talk to her about going home, but she has big plans for Fudge Ripple Ice Cream when she gets there. She'd just had her first shower and sounded pretty alert at the beginning of the call but faded quickly (though I'm not sure she knew it) probably due to "better living through chemistry." She's also feeling ripped off that she didn't get any of the microbrew IPA that someone had brought for the post-ride potluck.

So humor is intact and she was happy to hear about all the well wishes from TE. I'll send a link to Mr. Jobob to see if he can print off the thread to take to her. She's having troubles getting on-line from the hospital.

Fredwina -- She said to tell you that as far as she knows from what Mr. Jobob told her, the Lynskey is fine but the rear derailleur may be damaged.

    OMG!!!

I wish you speedy and complete recovery. If you want some one of a kind cookies to go with your ice cream, let me know and I will bake you some.

Hoping your crash isn't as serious it sounds. Get home, get all the rest you need.

No way Ms Jobob I wondered where you were.

I'm sad to hear you had a crash *sigh*. You're such a cool cyclist & have done some great rides up dose BIIIIGG Califonia mountains.

Here's hoping you'll be back on your bike soon.

Take care & don't fret over recovery time.
