I ran today. 2.6 measly miles on the treadmill at the gym. I sat in class all weekend and my whole body hurt. Running made it feel better. I did the whole run at a 10.25 pace, where i ran almost the whole time at 6.0 mph, about 3 minutes at 6.2, with a couple of minutes of walking thrown in, too. I decided to concentrate on speed today, but I have to start working up to longer than 3 miles.
It was pouring out today, so I spent like 3 hours at the gym, basically avoiding starting on a research paper. After running, I did some running specific stretches, worked the foam roller, and then lifted upper body weights. Then I went to a 75 minute yoga class. By the time I ate lunch and showered, i spent about an hour and a half writing the introduction to my paper. Then I went to acupuncture, where he worked on my hips, back, and IT band.
I will be riding tomorrow afternoon because classes were cancelled for some bogus research day at the university, and also on Wednesday, with my club.
I guess that means I'll be running on Thursday.
