yuck! a whole week of bad weather!

We went from springtime to fall overnight... So we'll have a whole week of heavy rains and wind. Pffffffft. I guess i'll have to ride on my tackx (ergotrainer) all week. It's kinda boring, but still it's better than doing nothing. I guess i'll watch a dvd while riding.
What do you do when the weather is too bad to ride outside?

I recently got a trainer for those times. It helped, but I'd rather be outside. Hope you get a break soon!

I know the feeling. It was windy, rainy, and tornado-y here this week. Let's get on with the warm, sunny, spring weather!

Well, the forcast is looking correct. So far we have about 10 inches of heavy wet snow. It has been snowing all day and most of Denver has been shut down. The moisture is good to have and in a week or two everything will be so green.

You don't say where you are and how bad the weather *really* is

Around here, the weather *usually* lets me out for something... and wind is a great workout. But if it's heinous, that's what trainers are for.

Well, lots of rain (constantly), fairly cold (5-6 °c) (but that doesn't bother me), winds around 60 km/h and very very very muddy and slippery roads. Especially the last thing keeps me indoors because it's dangerous and bad for my racingbike.

So it's your typical 'Belgian weather', even more so because... well... I live in Belgium.

But hey, it's the last day today. As from tomorrow they predict sunshine. yay!

Snow in Missouri--only a few inches, but it's cold and wet out there!

Snow showers last night, windy and partly cloudy today. I think I'll head for the hills and get a work out in.

When is spring going to reappear??

I lived in Brussels in 1984. I remember Belgian Spring pretty well as being wet!

I guess I now join y'all...we'd been having great weather and the rains were doing a pretty good job clearning the roads of salt and small gravel. It almost looked like I could start taking out my good bike--just one more solid spring rain and....

...noooooo.....snow.....inches of it....piled up...icy...the salt trucks have dumped more salt....arrrrgggh....4 more weeks of the winter bike
