I'm with ya, sister! I can't bring myself to the pool and have been spending alot of time on the bike and run. Last season I actually jammed in a month of training in the pool just so I didn't look like a total fool! I finished second in my age group and now think that I can do the same. My first tri is in May and I've waited until now to really try to improve. One day I'll get the picture and commit to the swim.

Hang in there....I had a near drowning (river) when I was younger and although not an excuse, it does affect my comfort level in the water. The really neat thing about tris is that you are tested in so many areas, for me- I had no idea swimming was an issue until I began training for my first race. My first open water swim is in June (river)- big jump for me!
