Today I explored a relatively new park called Salado Creek Greenway. It was beautiful! It was about a 7.5 mile ride to get to the park, and the path through the park was about 7 miles (roundtrip), so I ended up with 21 miles altogether. Pretty breezy at times, but the temp was perfect (mid-70s).

This was my longest ride to date (goodbye 10-mile mental barrier!) and although I got pretty tired toward the end, I must confess I am feeling a nice sense of accomplishment.

We did a 16 mile ride in a part of my town that I rarely see. It was nice, but the weather wasn't as nice as I thought it would be, so no 30-40 miles as I planned. Cloudy and winds steady at 15, with gusts up to 20.
Yoga tomorrow, which is fine because it's going to be freezing again. I rode 115 miles in a week, which is a lot for me, let alone for my first week out. My left sitz bone, IT band, and back all are hurting...

Well done!!! And yes, I'd say you've broken through!!

Had to re-post your bike since I always like looking at it - it's such a great color combination

No riding for me today - still getting over a stomach bug Ah well - at least I felt well enough to go for a walk in the sunshine with my pup
