If all the nipple/spokes will freeze up eventually and this is only temporary fix, wouldn't it be easier for me to get them replaced instead of having to fight with the frozen nipples/spokes each time my wheel is out of true?

Thanks!
But then, if I'm understanding Deb correctly, you will be replacing so many spokes that you will need to do a complete rebuild (with new rim). So then it becomes a question of whether you want to spend $$ now or later. If later, you might think about how much later that might be and what kind of hubs you have, because later, it could be better to just get all new wheels. If that's the case, then the cheaper, potentially temporary fix now could help you save some money for new wheels later.
