I don't want to stop running, but cycling is way more important to me. Guess I have to work on the timing of my rides and runs, but I was kind of discouraged; if I knew I was going to walk, I would have gone outside!!
Crankin good for you for getting out and trying. We two can stick together, I need more rest and recovery than most people too.
I can understand why you would need to rest though after a 37 mi ride!
I think I am going to try the Jeff Galloway run/walk plan that Lime posted on the other thread about water stops. My walk isn't much slower than my run!
It's about the journey and being in the moment, not about the destination
