Sorry it took so long to chime in... long story.

The SHORT story about my first ride on her yesterday.... A-MAZ-ING!

Okay..forget the fact that this was my first ride not only on this class act but my first ride in a little over a month. It was so smooth ..so much smoother than my "old" Giant. It was so nice that I overdid it! Ouch.

Don't know if this is TMI or not, but you gals know how a new saddle can mess with your tender area.. combine that with my apparently softened-up sitz (sp?) bones from not riding for 5wks (how'd that happen so fast?) and a certain other SO-related issue. I was so sore today I couldn't ride again. LOL and Wahhhhh!

I think I'm definitely going to put the Terry Butterfly I'm used to on the new bike. I can't go through another ride like Saturday's (down there).

Overall...incredible bike, ladies!! Seriously... smooth like buttah. Name's still escaping me..but "greased lightning" comes to mind. hee hee

P.S. Went to my LBS before the ride and got a GREAT little tiny Arundel bag. Pictures attached!

Congrats! I'm so happy for you that so rides as well and she looks. How about Phantom Menace? Or just Phantom to keep it simple. Yes, I live with a Star Wars geek.

My bike was stock with that saddle and I am a cut out girl. I couldn't even leave the shop with that torture monster saddle. They are personal so if it hurts, it has to go even if it looks sleek.

    BabyBlue,

So thrilled for you. Can't wait to try out the Avail now!
The bag looks great - and does kinda look like Darth Vader from that photo!
As for the saddle, I'm sure you did use some sort of chamois creme, but I can't recommend Assos highly enough.
I'd been off the bike for 8 months and after a couple of weeks and a lot of Assos, I'm now able to sit on my saddle without doing some kind of weird limbo dance!
    Life is Good!
