My racing pals say that a bag is a no-no.. and they always keep a neat packet of that stuff in their rear jersey pocket. I just can't stand that feeling in my jersey (hump back/butt) I can't decide... New bag, or just get over it and pack'er in the back pocket?

I actually just tried to put my "old" bag on the new bike and ran into a new prob. Since my other bike was a small frame and this one (correct size for me) is medium, my saddle is positioned way more forward on the rails than before. Either I need a small bag with JUST enough room for tire tools, tube, co cartridge..or NO bag. Ahhh..what to do... (I have such tremendous problems, right? LOL)
Have you checked out the Fizik bags? As your saddle's a Fizik, it should take their bags. They clip straight into the back of the saddle, you just pop out the little Fizik logo on the back of the saddle.

They do a very small and compact bag, which would tuck away neatly under your saddle. I have one on the back of my bike. The smallest sized one is nice and discreet, with just enough room to hold a tube, a few tools and bits and pieces, but not much else.

I'm waiting to try out the Avail Advanced, as soon as the extra small size comes into stock at my LBS. Can't wait!!
They have the bigger model in stock, so I have something to stand and lust at. The paintwork is stunning.
You must be thrilled with your new little baby, no wonder you're chomping at the bit to ride her!
Would be really interested to hear how it rides - keep us posted!!
I love the look of those handlebars too.

I have a bag, I don't give a flip what anyone says, thinks, feels about my bike. It is 900 degrees in the shade in the summer, I don't want all that crap in my pockets like DH does. And I secretly snicker at the people who do, sorry ladies/guys who look down on my bag but I am laughing on the inside at you in all my fredom!

I have a mountain wedge but eventually I will get off my lazy bum and put the new bag my SS sent me last fall on it, it is nicer but I need to mount something to put it on.

Both are big by roadie standards but pretty modest. I carry a tube, CO2 cartriges and pump, house key, Aleve canister, emergency tampon, tube patches, lip balm, tire levers, tiny thing of sunscreen. I have a black berry which won't fit so it rides on me with my "shoe wallet" style wallet. My bag is stuffed to the gills but I don't want anything bigger. I carry my food stuff, maps and sometimes camera in my pockets. That is already too much stuff.
