WANTED: 50 or 52 cm road bike or frame

    To disable ads, please log-in.

My husband said I had to sell two bikes if I wanted to get a new bike! The nerve of that man. I would like to get my hands on a smaller road bike frame than the one I have (54 cm), but I don't want to spend a lot. Standover on the 54 is not an issue, but reach is.

It's a long shot, but I thought I'd put it out there.

What effective top tube length would work for you? I don't have a frame to offer up- I'm just curious.

Do you want to trade? My 51 Dolce is too small. I'm in the market for a 53/54.
I can do five more miles.

I'd trade, but I think my Trek 1000 may be a step down from the Dolce. It'd be great if it worked out!

Becky, I think I only need another centimeter or two. I already have a short stem on the Trek. I think if I go below 50 cm then I'm going to be having troubles with my legs, instead.

I know my dh is! lol.

I just spent an hour or so wiping her down and taking off the stuff, and watching Jon & Kate Plus 8. Exciting Saturday night.
