I do too!! I was going to get my hubby one as it would match his yellow truck but then we moved.

There is a new souvenir plate in Texas celebrating Lance's 7th win! I am not affliated with BikeTexas.org in any way, so I'm posting the link to their site without any ulterior motive, just wanted to share. I saw the plates in a link on my LBS's website and bikerchick68's post reminded me about them. I think they are neat, but they are not available as real license plates. They are for souvenirs only.

Hiya Tex and welcome! that's a cool plate too... if CA made anything bike related I'd be willing to pay extra if it helped with adding (or fixing!) bike lanes!!!

Florida has one too! But I prefer the helping sea turtles survive plate, which I have modified :-)

    For those in Washington!

I spent a good afternoon affixing address labels to postcards notifying Bicycle Alliance members about the new "Share the Road" plates soon available in Washington State- here's the link, although the plate image isn't up yet! However, I can assure you the plate is really nice, colorful, and it clearly says SHARE THE ROAD!

The Georgia legislature approved a "Share the Road" plate for us during their last session. I haven't seen a design yet but it's supposed to be available starting Jan 2006.

Sadly, it took three tries to get it approved. A big thing that helped out on the third try was they got it lumped into a request for NASCAR plates. Whatever it takes, I guess!

yes, we have had Share the Road plates for some years now. I think I like the old design better. I've shared Cooper's story here before. ( Cooper Jones, jr olympic hopeful hit by a car during a time trial)
