Last day of recovery weekI decided to walk again today but I booked it!
I am still not outside - it is really icy and a regular runner slipped and fell - I am just not going to risk it.
I did 3 miles walking and was done in a little less than 38 minutes! that worked out to about a 12:40 milethat is faster than I was when I started running! the racewalker lady was there too and I know I sped up just so she wouldn't lap me
I don't know how she does it - she is just a little thing, about 6 inches shorter than me and older, my guess she walks about a 12 minute mile!
My right hip flexor is really tired. Walking is hard work
my calves are feeling better so hopefully I will do better on Tuesday when I have a 7 mile run again.
The plan for tomorrow is to go over the border into Manitoba and go x-country skiing at the park. Not much winter left (thankfully !)
