re the wetsuit. Call the company - find out if they run large or small and what body type they fit the best. I got a 2xu because they fit larger through the hip and smaller through the chest - others can be opposite.

Wetsuits should fit snug (but not restrictive) when dry. They "loosen up" a bit when wet. If the 6 fits you better, ignore the chart and go with it.
In my experience with selling wetsuits, the size chart is a good starting point, but certainly not the definitive answer.
CONGRATS on signing up for your 1st HIM!! If my half-marathon goes well this year, I might be crazy enough to consider a HIM in 2010.
