DH and I are both teachers. He always says that we do the work in 10 months that everyone else does in 12, which is why we have 8 weeks (which is always shrinking) in the summer.
We had a calendar meeting today for my school, and I spent the WHOLE time fighting for a mid-winter break (and I got it).
No running today (2 fabulous hours on the bike trainer), but I wanted to second the leg swings. They are really good for opening up your hip flexors without the impact of an actual run.
