You know, this may be good as a cold weather base layer, too. The only ride I was cold on this winter was the one where I didn't wear my bamboo socks.
I'm getting one, too.

I have a 3/4 sleeve bamboo (blend) jersey by Zoic. It's very soft and I used it on my commutes during cooler weather last year. About 5 miles each way. It wicked well enough for that length of ride - never got saturated - but I don't know how it would perform if I were to wear it on a longer ride.

I have a couple of bamboo tanks.
I love them. But I'd be suspicious of jersey pockets' ability to hold very much. Bamboo knits seem to stretch pretty similarly to cotton.Speed comes from what you put behind you. - Judi Ketteler

I LOVE my bamboo sheets. Seriously, I have two sets of sateen as well. Nope, wash the bamboo and put them back on. Light and airy.
