I'm tired, and it's only Wednesday!

Monday I was in the gym at 5:30am doing an upper body weight lifting routine. My pecs are still sore.

Tuesday I was in the pool at 5:30am with my swim coach. It was a great 1 hour session. But my left arm technique needs lots and lots of work!

This morning I was out the door at 5:30am with a friend. The workout was 50 min run, 1 min walk, 15 min run. On Sunday, running alone for a 66 minute workout, I covered 6.3 miles. This morning, my friend and I covered only 6 miles in 66 minutes. I was definitely the one holding back the pace, not her. I'm really tired. Too many 5:30 am workouts (the only time I can carve out, unfortunately) followed by too many long hours working (13 hours Monday and 12 hours yesterday). No wonder I was slower this morning!

I need to get some more sleep (surprise, surprise, life is a little stressful right now so I'm not sleeping soundly) and I need to eat more (I dropped 3 pounds this week, which is a very bad thing.)

It's a struggle to balance work, fitness, food & life!

My goal for the rest of the week is to leave the office no later than 6pm & to be in bed no later than 9pm. Otherwise I'm going to burn myself out.
