HA! Prolly sounds funny hearing this from a bike shop owner, and a QR (or former QR as it may be) dealer to boot. But a good customer came into the shop today with a printout from back country. They are blowing out QR Seduza's for 1500.00 and Caliente's for 2099.!!
That is LESS than dealers paid for them last year!
Now one thing, the caliente they are selling has San Remo wheels, and the ones we carried last year had flash points (aka zipp's- same company). So they may have been down spec'd a bit. But the Caliente retailed for 3400.00!
And the Seduza retailed for 2400!
So if your in the market.... I'm just sayin!
Luckily I only have one QR left on my sales floor. A seduza in med. Guess I'll be matching the price if anyone wants it... sigh..
And a bit of inside/back story.
This is not a shock to me. Recently American Bicycle Group, owners of QR, Litespeed, and Merlin fired ALL of their inside and outside reps. To the industry it appears that they are going online only. OR the company is in a boatload of trouble. Or both. At any rate I doubt you will see QR's in stores from here on out...

Saw a QR on bonktown last night for 1200. They had S, M, and L. I need another bike like I need a hole in my head, but it sure was purty.
