You can adjust the angle. Start with leveling the saddle and adjust a few degrees (tilt forward or backward) to your taste.
How wide is your saddle?
I only use the saddles that came from the bike:
(1) Selle San Marco Island Ponza -- a little bit too narrow (12.5 cm) and hard though I can still ride with it for 75+ km with regular pants.
(2) Velo from Fuji Finest RC -- comfortable & not as hard as (1). It's 15cm wide, but I prefer a little bit narrow.
Anyway, I am quite happy with (2), but when I buy a new one, I'll try 13-14 cm wide.

were sore the first ride I took it on (22 miles), but my bottom quickly got used to it...also the soreness that felt like bruising without the marks was completely eliminated by this little guy! And the best part? The saddle forced me to sit on the bike with a perfect butt position for riding for many, many miles which I had trouble with with my previous Terry saddle.
