I haven't ventured into MTB, but who knows - I love riding and am always up for a challenge.

I don't blame you for getting out of S. Fla. It's soooo crowded. I moved down here 12 years ago and am really longing to move back to NY - I'm a country gal at heart as well. Besides, there are no hills in S. Fla.!!! I also miss the change of seasons, and yes, even snow. When we were without power for six days last week, I kept saying to my family "I'll take a snowstorm any day over a hurricane."

I love NC - so beautiful and lots to do, from the mountains to the ocean - when do you move?

Thanks for the heads-up on the shop. I'm purchasing from Bikes to Go - great bunch of fellas and also give great discounts. They've been trying to play catch-up in assembling bikes since being without power for so long, plus with the Tour/Lance, they've sold many Treks, so I'm in line. Inasmuch as I'm excited to get it, I told them to just take their time - gives me a chance too to pick up more gear!!

Take care.

Oh, and thanks for the website
