Knowing that my Sudnay ride was most likelygoing to be called for rain, when I saw blue skies Saturday, I went nuts! First, bf and I rode 12 miles out to the BART station, to see if it could really be done. It can. Not only that, but there was an awesone stretch of road, which I used to experiment with my gears (I'm still learning how to use them most efficiently).

When we arrived at home, bf called it quits. I was not where near done, so I got out my handy ride guide and cruised out to Crockett, and the "Carquinez Scenic Route" it was so much fun! Beautiful views of the water, almost zero traffic..It was one of those rides that make all the gym time worth it.
I was so content when I got home (after a total of 40 miles for the day) when i got up and heard rain the next moring, I wasn't even irritated. It was really a nice day.
