Rsvp Ride's popularity --what do you think are the reasons for it? Is it the party at the end? Or the idea/goal that one rides ..into a foreign country?

I guess if local Vancouverites gatecrash the party, can we get in free if we are honorary..hosts??? We know the best gelato places, cafes, restaurants, etc. in downtown.
