Yes armadillos are a normal sight in Texas and Oklahoma. I should have mentioned in my previous post that I see lots of dead armadillos. I lived in Texas until February of this year and then moved to Oklahoma but I only saw my first live armadillo 2 weeks ago. They need to stop running around in the dark and getting hit by cars!!
