*ahhhh* It's my last day at work *YAY* I'm so happy to leave (My company is giving me a Ground Efffect gift cert as a leaving gift )

I'm on a new journey & start university on Tuesday. I know I might have to do some more crap jobs whilst studying but I can now see beyond them. I'm tired of doing dead end type roles & not moving forward. (well, except on my bike )

I know i'm in for some hard work but I have Ian to support me. That and he'll ensure i'm in tip top form! I look forward to learning & THINKING!!! Uh, in terms of writing papers... This time I aim to do ALOT better than when i completed my first degree!!!

This time I know i'll have a degree relevant to a specific career upon graduation, be able to transfer the skills overseas and work in the public/private sectors. In case i forgot to mention, i'm doing a degree in Urban & Regional Planning.

    *Breathes sigh of relief*

Or if you want a REAL challenge in a bonefide banana republic - come to the Big Easy! People around here complain to no end about getting things fix, but when it come to cutting contracts, they want you to call their brother or cousin who has a business.... You'll be guaranteed to loose what's left of your mind. And we all know just how well we did on planning... On the otherhand, for the best restaurants in the world, music, festivals, this place can't be beat. Just have a place to run in August and September.

Better get good grades and call Tulip.
    Beth
