Wish we had met earlier...I have been looking for others in my area to ride with after work...and i hear Key Biscayne is a great ride...nice hill for FL if you start on the west side of the overpass!!!!

Unfortunately MTBike season is picking up and the sun is going down faster so my road riding is coming to an end (throught the week at least) and i live up north so my weekend rides are in Pines area. With gas and all...driving to Miami any more than i have to is avoided!

I also am moving to N Carolina and in the process of moving my bosses up there so schedule is a thing of the past till i get settled...bye bye SoFla!!!! (no offense, but it is getting too crowded for me down here...i am a country gal at heart!)

I do want to pass this on to you (especially since you bought a Trek) not sure what shop you frequent...this is about Cycle World...

A friend I ride with bought his Trek from Cycle world in Miami, his rear wheel started to crack where the spokes go into the rim so he returned it under warranty. Yesterday he went to pick it up and was charged $50 for " shipping and handling" when he questioned the charges they gave him a $15 discount. After he paid and left the store he realised that the wheel was exactly where it was put when he dropped it off and hadnt been shipped anywhere, so he called Trek to find out what was going on. Trek told him that he should have walked out with a new wheel and not paid a penny, they reimburse the store for any charges. Trek was very helpfull and called the store owner on 3 way and told him that they were very unhappy with the way they handled this claim the store owner got angry and yelled at the Trek rep and told him he wouldnt credit my friends account until Trek had credited his account!!
Pass the info to your friends in hopes the bike shop will change its ways

If you are into MTBiking...check out ClubMud ( www.clubmud.com ) they are a great group and they do a womens ride once a month (Feminine Flow Ride) all types and levels!!!

    Ophelia...GO EAST!!!!!

I am a nobody; nobody is perfect, and therefore I am perfect.
