I didn't get to run today after all.
I got a call that my contacts were in at the eye care center, and I realized I had no other chance to get a Valentine and some dark chocolate for DH (he is one man who LOVES chocolate!), so I ended up running errands at lunchtime instead of going to the gym, and by the time I left work for the day, I was just too tired to run. I will try to run tomorrow, if it's not too chilly outside.
Hang in there, Crankin. Running is HARD. I started about a year ago, and it's easier now, but it's still more difficult than cycling. Always will be, I think. Still, it does get (slightly) better, and I'm not terribly consistent. I am sure I could run a little faster and longer if I were more consistent in my runs. I'm lucky to get in 2x a week on a good week. The nice thing about running, though, is that you can get a great workout in as little as 30 minutes, if that's all the time (or energy!) you have, as it sometimes is for me.
