Well, it's off! I took my bike to the LBS, and the guy just popped it right off without even putting it back on the bike...said it was just 'leverage'. Phooie! Anyhow, he stated that what happened was exactly what I thought; the screws weren't tight enough so the cleat just moved with the pedal. Everything is back on properly with the cleats TIGHT. I also had the tension on the one pedal too high (the other one was loose where I wanted it), so they hooked me up to one of their trainers and helped me clip on and off. Just gotta get my confidence up, and I'm all set!
They also said it happens often with new pedals, so I didn't feel completely silly. Anyways, thanks everyone for the kind thoughts...now I have a nice 'Stupidest Thing You've Ever Done' for that other thread![]()
