Okay, Mr. Silver, I've been picturing you as a little blond kid for a long time, now. That chess player can't be you! lol.

Great Pics you all. I have to go digging and find some myself. However, I'm going to Santa Paula CA for a few days here, be back next week. I hope to have some after that.

Wow! I've never seen that! Yes, SilverSon, exactly! The hand! I've seen him do that exact posture.

Mimi's brings to mind a song I have on an album somewhere: Kate & Anna McGarrigle, "Dancer with bruised knees". Although the song is more about that falling-on-head-after-flying-through-the-air phenomenon that Bruno mentioned. Great picture, Bruno! We don't have any like that because my Mom was always too slow, checking and rechecking the light, the distance, the shutter settings. We used to tease her that even the stones we sat on would get up and leave by the time she was ready to snap the picture.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

Duck, I had scrapes on my knees constantly until I was about 7 years old. I was not very coordinated, that's why they put me in ballet school. It was either that or BRACES!

One of my favorite pictures- me at about 3 years old I think? My papa kissing me. Sadly, less than 2 years later he was gone from cancer...but i remember him so well, remember playing with him and adoring him, I even remember his voice!

here is me with my Grandma who I miss so much. She died 28 years ago. I can still remember how much i loved to hug her and just cuddle with her. She would let me eat anything I wanted. For breakfast she would give me bagles with cream cheese and bacon! Mmmmmm and Icould watch cartoons all day at her house if I wanted to!
