This is my favorite picture of me ever. Someone else's brother had the same hat, above, which reminded me.

OMG! i want a copy of this picture! it needs to be a gretting card! I swear there are a couple I really want copies of to make into greeting cards! please im me some please. i will give my personal emil. i only want to give them to a few freinds who would love the old picture's. i would never use them to sell.PLEASE!!! i just love this though! Some of you with the siblings would make great one's for just friends cards. Oh I hope some of you will let me do this. I will pm the epople are would like to get a copy eamiled to me. and see what Happens.

Taken on my great-grandmother's front porch in rural NC when I was three (1964). I'm the one on the right (with cousins on the left) -- as usual, off doing my own thang.

Yeah, don't you love us in our panties out in the yard? Squeezing a kitten and sitting on a giant watermelon that my grandmother grew herself. Made sure I had my shoes on, because, unlike my cousins, I lived in Chicago, not rural Arkansas. My dad always called that hat a Chinamen's hat. I don't know if that's an inappropriate term or not. I wish I still had that hat, though!

It's a classic, that photo.

Oh my gosh, I just love all the pictures posted here!! Thanks to everyone for posting. I wish I had some of me...all at my mom's.
