OK, serious advice...
As much as I used to be an "anaerobic junkie... go for the puke factor" kinda person, I say go for the endurance. I have really come to appreciate what endurance base building can do for you overall.
It will build up your capacity and make the next speed workout even harder because your body is fitter and it takes more to "get there". End result: you get more out of it.
