Thanks for the support - you're right, skipping one session won't be the end of the world
The event I'm training for is a 24hr combined bike and hike - 30 miles on trails on the bike then 43 miles hiking, eek! It's not until May but I've been using the bike to get my fitness level up before hitting the hills when the snow melts...
The training plan I'm working to is based on doing 5-6 sessions a week on the turbo that are typically 1-2hrs long, but hey, if the weather's good tomorrow I might even free my bike from the turbo's grip and head outside!
