My dad forgot me once. I remember it vaguely. It was when my folks were divorcing, so there was lots of shuffling from parent to parent. I remember sitting for a long time on a curb somewhere. I can't remember if there was someone (a teacher?) with me but I think there was. I was about 4 I guess.

Yes, I got left behind accidentally a couple times too when I was little.

One of the first times my son was allowed to borrow my car he forgot to come get me. I had to stand outside in the dark in 38 degree weather for an hour. Boy I was mad.

I don't think my parents ever forgot me and i sure never forgot my kids; I was hypervigilant.

I can't believe the number of people in recent years who have forgotten their babies in hot cars. Do they need to be either having children or driving, let alone both?

But maybe it's like everything else - it's really not national news, it's just sad local gossip, but nowadays we hear it all, even though it happens less than it used to. ? I hope.

Met up with a co-worker at the pool after work, he's a marathon runner who wants to do a triathlon but his swimming stroke is pretty poor. I spent a half hour with him and corrected most of his problem, he was so excited!! Very rewarding.

My mom forgot me at the dime store.
I was a quiet well behaved child but I'm making up for it.

It's why we love you. Well, maybe not the only reason, but it's high up in the mix.

Were you really a good little girl? It's always the quiet ones...like Ruby...

Pax, how fun to be able to show a marathoner how to swim better--so gratifying.

I wish these dark days would end - I mean literally not metaphorically.

I am soooooo tired of this unrelenting gloom and not seeing the sun.

I wish it would rain. My in-laws are selling off cattle because the drought is making it too expensive.

    summer

I'm sure your bikes understand and will be more than happy to wait until it's warmer outside for them. If you ride outside now, your poor bike will freeze

Next week, my legs will melt..I'm sure my poor bike doesn't enjoy the sunburn..

Here are two more photos of wildlife dealing with the recent heatwave..poor sheepies..
