    Finally!

my husband wore his woolie today (after it was washed) and now he loves it.
this is quite a big deal for us. That Ibex woolie has a new convert.

I'm not having any luck doing a search, so could someone compare the Ibex 405 to the Shak? Someone (Lisa?) said they like their 405 and wear it often. Thanks.

405 is more like a thin felted wool jacket. Looks more 'tailored' like a wool jacket. Has two roomy jacket-like pockets. Someone had one shrink in the wash, so you should dry clean it like you would any wool coat thing.

Shak is stretchier, moves more like a zip sweater. Drapes on you more like a sweater. Only one tiny inconvenient chest pocket in the full zip. Washes very well in the machine (on gentle of course, and gentle temps) and doesn't shrink with this care.

Because the felted wool on the 405 is a tighter density (not thicker, but just denser felted wool), it keeps wind out a bit more than the shak, but the shaks stretch and let you move around better.
The 405 has a more formal look to it and has jacket-like shoulder tailoring.

Thanks for the info, Lisa. Dry cleaning is a deal breaker for me.

Well even though it's high cut, I got a Woolie and just got under the wire on the TE New Year's sale. Got it two days ago, wore it yesterday, slept in it, wore it to yoga today.

Now I still need a low cut tank.

Will it stop after I've replaced my entire wardrobe with wool?

I'm hoping it doesn't mean that I'm going to end up replacing my entire wardrobe with alpaca in another few years.

SInce they aren't carrying my colors right now, it's easy for me to say no and buy stuff for my husband instead.
