Oh that's too funny!- the image of The Village People I posted was removed- I guess because it was from a 'gay' website. It was a perfectly nice photo of that popular music group! I was trying to do a reference based on their hit "YMCA" song. sigh.....oh well.

Nope, not removed as far as I know. If you are linking directly, the site may block you. Most websites do not appreciate "hot linking" it can affect their bandwidth. Not to mention it's against TE's terms of service.

that wiki article is clear as mud. So what is hot linking?

Hot linking would be if you right click on an image, select copy image location, and then input that location into the TE image link window. What we are supposed to be doing is hosting the image in our own storage space and provide the link to that. What we should really be doing is using only images that we have the rights to use. yeah right!
