It would get that hot where I lived in AZ, I'd see spots in front of my eyes just walking to the mailbox at the end of the driveway. People liked to tell me "but it a dry heat", to which I'd reply "so's my oven...but I don't like to hang out in it"

I feel for you. I remember what 115 feels like quite well. In fact, I think of it, every time I walk outside in an icy, 5 degree windy day. I think about what it felt like to have to hold a rag in my hand to open my car after work. How my kids had to ride on an air conditioned bus to the pool after having activities in an air conditioned school at summer camp, instead of running around in the woods and swimming in a lake.
Some people don't mind it, but I felt trapped inside my house, much worse than I do in winter. In winter, you can put on layers and go play outside! And where I live, the really cold part of winter is not as long as the over 100 degrees I used to have in AZ.

I hope you all can go hang out in a pool or something to stay cool. In hearing the news for the Tour down under as well as the Australian Open, it is way too hot out there. Think ice!
