My adrenals don't produce cortisol and I therefore take Cortisone orally on a daily basis. I have also had to give myself large doses via intramuscular injection on a couple of occasions, and I can confirm that the symptoms you describe do sound like those I experience on a cortisol high! My friend had a Cortisone injection in her heel recently and felt the same way. Enjoy it while it lasts.
