Our first ride will be tomorrow (Saturday Jan 24). We are meeting at the Alpine Shop at 10am and caravaning to the trail. Hope to see many there. Oh, it will be cold tomorrow (mid 20's) - so dress appropriately.

We did have our first ride today. We had 10 women show up in about 16 degree weather. Our Camelbak hoses froze! This trail is only a 7 mile loop and would be rated a medium in difficulty. With us 5 of the 10 had never been on this trail (a definite reason for this ride series). One of the girls had also never been on a real mountain bike trail - she was awesome.
Now fastdogs could have totally done this trail - no harder than Berryman. Hopefully she'll get out there next month.

Sounds like y'all had a lot of fun, I hope to join you on occasion if weather/schedule permits. Right now it's waaaaayyyy too cold for my stoker, who's a boy, but he's a cute boy so would he be ok?
I didn't see this on the SLAG calendar, just the biking meetup. Might be another good place to advertise it.I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out.

I was hoping to hear how this went!! Glad some new people got out. It was very cold today, but I was wishing I was there with you all. At least the trail was frozen! there was still a little surface mud on love friday, and I didn't even go on rollercoaster because I was afraid there would be more mud. Definitely plan on making some of these!
