Glad I could give you a good grin, Jes! LOL

Okay, I'm not crazy about this picture. But it's me, my dad, and my kids at the Mississippi River after finishing up RAGBRAI last summer in Iowa.

He is. He's been riding about 4 yrs now and has dropped about 30 lbs. His surgery is scheduled for the 28th but he was going to call today and see if they can do it sooner. He's the type that it's taken us a year to get him to even consider this and now that he has his mind set on it, then having to wait until next week is too long.

So now he's going to get his knee surgery in the next week or so and be good to go ride Bike Tour Colorado again in June and then ragbrai in July. And we're going to be able to get more hours in together riding, too!! Double bonus!

    Thank you, again!!!!
I don't know how I missed this. That's GREAT news!!!! I'm so happy for all of you! Now for the knee surgery... he'll do great. As active as he is- it'll be no problem for him to come back from that.
I love the picture of you both with the kids. I think it's a GREAT picture.
