Those blister Band-aids work really well. They help the healing process and help with the pain. And they protect the area and pad it. I think if you just look where the band-aids are in your store, you'll see the "blister band-aids."

Tis better to wear out than to rust out....
I get blisters on my feet alot. I just put regular band-aids over them.
I do a lot of fitness walking in all seasons, and I find that cotton socks tend to give me more blisters than wool socks. I particularly like SmartWool thin merino wool athletic socks for walking in 'regular' weather or even hot weather. When it's cold I wear thicker wool socks- I like the SmartWool cushioned hiking socks for colder walking.
Make sure your socks fit you and are not too loose or they will move around too much and rub your skin. It's also possible that your 'walking boots' are not good for long distance walking.
In the meantime, do put bandages or a patch over those blisters.![]()

Have fresh popped blister on the back of one of my heels myself, thanks to shoes getting wet while walking. Don't step in a puddle in dress shoes...
So I'm stuck with bandaids until the skin heals and toughens back up. Fortunately tomorrow I have a field trip and get to wear casual clothes. Will pull out my nice warm soft wooly socks.
In general, wear wool socks while hiking / hill walking. I swore by wool socks even when I worked in the Arizona desert in the summer. Do whatever it takes to keep your feet DRY.

Thanks to all.
Knew I could rely on you.
Now the only piece of information I followed on the internet was to apply a lot of Vaseline and not to cover.
Well, in all honesty the Vaseline does help with keeping my feet soft and smooth also, when I wake up in the morning and bend my foot, instead of it splitting it open again, it has helped with that.
What I did not know, was whether these specific blister plasters were any good, so I shall 'hop' off to the shops later.
TE girls to the rescue again.
