Wow. My mileage looks so much more impressive when shown in kilometers!

I exceeded my goals in '08. I'm setting the same mileage goal in '09, but aiming for a commuter century (100 commute days). I am content that my mileage goals allow me to do lots of riding, but still have a life beyond the bike(s).

Dang, if it wasn't for REALLY slow months last January and November, I'd have been in the top 10 But I'm pretty much okay with my total mileage. Considering it's more than double what I did last year and WAY more than I've done since about 1993, I can't complain. And yeah, it sure does look better in km!

LOL... had to smile... when folks here talk about weight loss, it looks much better in imperial rather than metric!

She lost 20lbs... or she lost 10kgs...

Okay then, let's get our units straight for this year.

    Elevation gain in FEET.

    Distance travelled in KILOMETERS.

    Weight lost in POUNDS.

    Weight gained in KILOGRAMS.

    Everyone got that?

I'm on board! Just logged my first ride for 2009 today! I kept a journal last year and loved being able to look back at individual rides AND see the miles pile up! Go, TE!!

    I'm still in £sd, I never changed since 1971

Goodness all this metric palaver confuses me. Nevermind, determined not to get left behind, in all ways, so have just downloaded a real handy widget for converting everything.

Am aiming for 2000 km's this year, my average is only 1600.

Still don't know how you guys manage to fit in all these miles..........ooooops, kilometres into your lives, I'm afraid real life gets in the way far too much for me.
