Given the recent threads...
For those of you into podcasts, this aired Friday on NPR/Fresh Air: a very sweet interview with a very compassionate vet (a surgeon for aspca) about treating our animals and about the realness of our relationships with them.
(Plus, an interview with the trainer/owner of Alex, the amazingly intelligent parrot who died at age 30.)
